Boulevard Children’s Center has
been providing quality
child care and preschool to families in the Des Moines
area since 1988.
Boulevard Children's Center provides
full-time child day care in a loving, secure, and nurturing
learning environment. Our enrollment is only 50 children,
to allow for more one-on-one attention, smaller group sizes,
and a better focus on learning and fun in an environment
that feels like family.
We offer the preschool activities and structure that children
love in the safe learning environment that parents search
for.

Program Philosophy:
Boulevard Children’s Center believes in being a safe, loving, caring
and enriching environment with a strong curriculum in socialization,
reading, math, science, small/large motor skills, and literacy.
This is achieved through play, developmentally appropriate games
and activities, and hands-on-learning experiences to develop
your child’s school readiness skills as well as everyday life
skills. Children learn best by exposure to learning elements
in a fun and playful manner.
 Parents are encouraged to be involved in the
child’s day. Parents are welcome to volunteer in the classrooms,
join us on field trips or parties, have lunch with their child,
or just stop by for a visit.
We also have a unique opportunity for intergenerational
activities being housed in The
Life Center—a premier
nursing and rehab facility. The seniors and our children truly
enjoy spending time together. A few favorites are spring planting,
holiday parades, music, and reading.
Our Hours:
The Boulevard Children's Center is open 6:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday. We have parking directly outside the main entrance,
making drop-off and pick up easier for mom or dad!
